Tove Røskaft
Tove Røskaft is the Head of Offshore Wind in Aker Offshore Wind and is located at the headquarters in Fornebu, Norway.
She joined Aker Offshore Wind in 2021 and has extensive global leadership experience. Her previous leadership experience includes roles such as Chief Operations Officer at Aker Offshore Wind and as Chief Communication Officer, Executive Vice President of Umbilicals, and Head of #thejourney in Aker Solutions. In addition, she has held several other leadership roles within project management, manufacturing, and engineering. Through her over 25 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, Ms. Røskaft has demonstrated the ability to inspire and motivate teams to deliver high performance and results. Ms. Røskaft holds a M.Sc. in Marine Hydrodynamics from NTNU, the Norwegian University of Science and Technology.
Leif Holst
Leif Holst is responsible for the development of the global portfolio of offshore wind projects. He has 10 years of experience in the offshore wind industry and joined Aker Offshore Wind in 2018, after six years with strategy and investments in Ørsted. Since 2018, and until Aker Offshore Wind was listed in August 2020, Mr. Holst focused on business development and M&A in the company, as well as building the project and prospect portfolio. Mr. Holst serves on the Board of Directors of Korea Floating Wind Power Co. Ltd.
Mr. Holst obtained his Master of Science in Applied Economics and Finance from Copenhagen Business School.
Geir Olav Berg
Geir Olav Berg is responsible for aligning technology needs with Aker Offshore Wind strategy and growth targets, including research and implementation. Mr. Berg has more than 25 years of experience from the offshore industry. His previous leadership roles include Head of Engineering in the Aker Solutions floating wind business, as well as numerous management positions as VP of Engineering devoted to subsea technology and project execution in the Aker companies.
Mr. Berg is highly motivated by the opportunities that exist in the combination of renewable energy and ocean technologies. He holds an MSc in Naval Architecture with focus on Cybernetic/Robotics from NTNU, the Norwegian University of Science and Technology.
Birgitte Karlsen
Birgitte Karlsen has worked as a lawyer within the offshore sector for 19 years and has for the last few years especially been focusing on offshore wind. She has worked for the law firm Wikborg Rein during the main part of her career and was a partner in the firm from 2013 to 2021. She has a law degree from the University of Bergen and graduated in 2002.
Sebastian Bringsværd
Sebastian Bringsværd is the global head of business development and the head of the Norway region where he will be responsible for developing the Norwegian market, including our two projects Utsira Nord and Sørlige Nordsjø II.
Previously, Mr. Bringsværd worked at Equinor, where he was part of the Senior Management Team and where he built up the New Energy Division for six years. In his previous position, he was responsible for establishing and heading up the floating wind unit which covered commercialization, deployment, and industrialization of floatingwind in existing and new markets. He has held many leadership roles throughout his career and joins Aker Offshore Wind with a wealth of experience.
Mr. Bringsværd holds an MBA from Lancaster University as well as in politics and law from the University of Oslo.
Jonah Margulis
Jonah Margulis is accountable for all U.S. operations and joined Aker Offshore Wind in January 2021. He has significant leadership experience from roles as U.S. Country Manager, Head of Front End North America, and General Manager of the Subsea Production Alliance at Aker Solutions. Mr. Margulis’s primary responsibilities include the development of deepwater wind projects and portfolio development in the Americas along with building and managing the local team and legal entity. He currently serves as the Vice Chair of Offshore Wind California (OWC) and sits on the Board of Directors of the National Ocean Industries Association (NOIA).
Mr. Margulis obtained his engineering degree from Lafayette College in Easton, Pennsylvania, and MBA with an Energy Management certificate from the University of Houston.
Sian Lloyd-Rees
In a career spanning over 25 years, Ms. Lloyd-Rees has extensive business experience as a senior leader in both energy and IT industries, having held several leadership roles in both blue chip and start-up companies.
The domain knowledge and global focus gained in the energy industry, coupled with the pace of evolving digital strategies and entrepreneurship encouraged in the IT industry, have contributed to a proven track record in developing new and profitable business opportunities. Ms. Lloyd-Rees is UK Managing Director of Aker Offshore Wind and also supports the broader Aker Horizons companies in the UK, a global provider of sustainable solutions across the broad energy sector.
Ms. Lloyd-Rees is Vice Co Chair on the Board of Oil and Gas UK (OGUK) and the industry Supply Chain Champion supporting delivery of the North Sea Transition Deal, sits on the board of the Aberdeen Energy Transition Zone (ETZ), and is a member of the steerco for the Deepwind Cluster.
Holger Matthiesen
Holger Matthiesen has a strong track record from the offshore wind industry globally, where he recently was the Head of Offshore Wind Development for Scandinavia, Poland and the Baltic States at RWE Renewables. He has held previous roles working in the climate and renewables part of the E.ON group, including management positions in underground gas and energy storage and within offshore wind development and construction in Germany and Scandinavia. He also has oil and gas experience within exploration and production with assignments in Libya, Russia, and the Netherlands.
Mr. Matthiesen holds a Diploma in Geology from Technical University Aachen, Germany, a Ingenieur diplomé from IFP School in Paris, France, and an Executive MBA from University of Applied Science Bremen, Germany.
